The Lean Enterprise Research Centre is Europe’s leading academic research centre for Lean Thinking and the world’s largest such body.

Founded in 1994 by Daniel T Jones and current Director, Professor Peter Hines, it is now part of Cardiff Business School. LERC is dedicated to developing a detailed knowledge of Lean Management principles and techniques, plus identifying new ways of applying them for the benefit of organisations.
