This paper looks at how sustainable Lean is possible in the public sector.  Using the Lean Iceberg Model, it moves away from the ‘quick win’ culture that is often applied, and looks at the ‘below the waterline’ elements of sustainable Lean which include; Strategy and Alignment, Leadership and Behaviour & Engagement.
