Being a Partner in our business isn’t just about owning the business. It’s about adhering to our values.

Always striving for excellence, we have pulled on the vast range of experience within the business to form a Leadership Team which comprises Partners, Capability Heads and Sector Heads.

This Team strives to deliver our own business objectives, whilst ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of our clients through our product development, by providing up to the minute insights into specific sectors and by working closely with our Allies.

Anthony Griffiths

Anthony is an experienced manufacturing professional with exposure to Lean Thinking Principles and their practical application in various types of pressurised environments. He has a track record of achievement in terms of turnover, OEE, stock reduction and customer performance. Since becoming a consultant, he has been involved in designing and developing many products including the Lean Coach programme which has been successfully implemented in many of our corporate clients.

 

Chris Butterworth

Chris had many years experience in implementing Lean Thinking as a senior manager in supply chain and operations roles in companies such as JCB, Jaguar and Corus before becoming a consultant. He was the Programme Manager for a major government funded applied research project supporting the implementation of Lean Thinking across multiple level supply chains. He now works with many of our multi-site clients across a wide range of sectors including food, packaging, pharmaceutical and metal processing

 

Dale Williams

Dale, our Managing Partner, has been with the business for ten years and has been a Lean Thinking practitioner for over 15 years. He has a wide range of industry experience in all aspects of Lean Thinking, but specialises in 'Strategy Deployment' and 'Lean Thinking for Service industries'. Dale heads our marketing and Capability functions and is also a well known and award winning 'Lean Thinking' speaker.

 

Jeff Williams

Jeff is an engineer by background and holds a Masters degree in Lean Thinking. With over twenty years' experience in many different sectors including automotive, print and packaging and food, Jeff is widely regarded as an outstanding facilitator, project manager and team leader.

 

Leighton Williams

Leighton has vast experience within a variety of functions in the public and service sectors. Before joining S A Partners he spent a number of years working in the field of Process Improvement and Human Capital (Resource) Development. It's in these areas that he continues to provide expertise to many clients in both service and manufacturing sectors.

Mike Dale

Mike is our Partner responsible for Capability Development and specifically for the Strategic Management Capability.  He is an engineer by background, has over twenty years experience in consultancy.  He has strength in depth as a result of working with so many leadership teams in forming and deploying strategy.  This work encompasses a variety of industries and clients that range from SMEs to large international groups.  He is a skilled mentor, coach, process designer and strategist.

 

Professor Peter Hines

Peter is our Chairman and is also Director of the Lean Enterprise Research Centre at Cardiff Business School and one of the Directors of the Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre in the wider Cardiff University. His work on extending the boundaries of lean thinking has received widespread international attention. He has written over 30 books, booklets or research papers. He is a skilled lean mentor and coach especially within multi-site operations, strategy deployment and Supply Chain Development.

 Richard Lynch

Richard is an engineer by background and has over ten years’ experience in consultancy with experience from many industries and countries.  He is a skilled project manager, a creative process designer and pragmatic strategist.

 Robin Jaques

Robin’s background lies in Supply Chain Management at BAe, Airbus and Dyson Appliances. He has experience of consultancy both at corporate level where he manages significant change programmes but also with a wealth of SMEs through funded programme and direct work in food, aerospace, ceramics and high reliability engineering.  Robin heads up Operations, Finance and ICT within our business.
