Chris Butterworth

Chris had many years experience in implementing Lean Thinking as a senior manager in supply chain and operations roles in companies such as JCB, Jaguar and Corus before becoming a consultant. He was the Programme Manager for a major government funded applied research project supporting the implementation of Lean Thinking across multiple level supply chains. Professor Peter Hines

Peter is our Chairman and is also co-founder and honorary professor of the Lean Enterprise Research Centre at Cardiff Business School.  His work on extending the boundaries of Lean Thinking has received widespread international attention. He has written over 30 books, booklets or research papers.  He is a skilled lean mentor and coach especially within multi-site operations, strategy deployment and supply chain development. Gary Griffiths 

Gary has an Industrial Engineering background with over 20 years hands-on experience in continuous improvement and Lean Thinking. Gary is head of Capability development at S A Partners and specializes in Lean Diagnostics and Implementation, Lean Maturity Roadmap Design, Equipment Effectiveness, and Lean Leadership. Gary is the key account manager for a number high profile multi-national brands and also manages the Capability Development Process as part of his internal role with S A Partners.

Mark Fillingham 

 

Mark’s career involved early exposure to the European and North American automotive sector, occupying change management roles within purchasing, logistics, factory management and sales. Significant experience was then gained as Logistic Manager and then Factory Manager of a complex 400 person European Packaging facility. This was followed up by Director appointments in European Sales and Marketing and more recently as Managing Director of a £25m Paperboard Packaging plc. Whilst transforming the operational and financial performance of this business, Mark completed an MBA at Oxford Brookes University with the thesis focus of “Innovation as a Habit”, which explored the linkages between trust, champions, creativity and business networks.

  
Steve Baker 

Steve has over 10 years consulting experience gained after 20 years working in industry. His experience includes Operations Management, Engineering, Design and Project Management within a wide and varied range of Industries. He has extensive knowledge and experience in order creation to fulfilment process improvement. He has worked in many Industries including: Food and Drink, Steel, Manufacturing, Electronics, Paper and Pharmaceutical. While working within these Industries Steve has used a very wide range of ‘Lean Tools’ in order to diagnose, understand and improve efficiencies and Customer Value to the greater benefit of our clients.
