Cranfield School of Management

S A Partners worked alongside Cranfield University on the AIMSS (Aligning and Integrating Market and Supply Strategy) project which investigated how to balance delivery of shareholder and customer value to optimise profits.  AIMSS sought to determine how the gap between theory and reality can be bridged. The 3 year project involved studies of 3 supply chains and their progress in aligning market and supply strategies to deliver improved customer responsiveness and required support from 3 companies (Emerging Technologies, Specialist Automotive and FMCG) who were the focal firms for the studies which each encompassed 4 supply chain echelons.  S A Partners have leant their business improvement knowledge to this project to ensure that the frameworks and tools developed have practical application and are relevant to industry.
