S A Partners become accredited to SC21

As part of our ongoing investment in tailored services to the aerospace community, we are delighted to announce that we have recently been approved by the SC21 programme steering group as a recognised training partner for the delivery of Lean tools and techniques training to aerospace companies in the UK.  

Achieving supply chain improvement is critical to the continued competitiveness of the UK aerospace and defence industry. SC21 is a key programme, overseen by SBAC's Enterprise Excellence Board, which aims to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry.

With international competition increasing, the participation of companies of all sizes throughout the UK supply chain is crucial to delivering real results from this modernisation programme. Signatories have undertaken seven commitments designed to ensure the UK supply chain remains competitive and delivers increased value to customers.

 SC21 was launched at the 2006 Farnborough Air Show with 16 signatories. It now has over 300.
